Outdoor Activities Camp
The Program
The Outdoor Activities Camp is a week-long day camp designed to allow friends of all abilities, age 14-18+ to enjoy a week of fun, exercise and games, outdoors in an Inclusive environment. Campers will be participating in a rotation of sport based games and activities, similar to a PE class. Sports like Basketball, Soccer, Kickball, Basketball, Volleyball, 4 Square and more are played to help develop hand-eye-body coordination and build throwing, catching, kicking and other skills. These activities help develop Communication, Teamwork, Community and Pride in accomplishment.

Camp Location: Frank Liske Park
- The camp is open to friends of all abilities, age 14-18+
- Convenient drop off and pick up times: 9am-1pm
- Immersive outdoor active experience with typical High School peers
- Specially trained leaders assigned for Inclusion
- Participation & Engagement in Physical skills associated with sports camp activities
- Hand – Eye – Body Coordination

Empower an Experience!
Help an individual with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities prepare for work
Your $2,000 donation to KSF opens the door for 1 individual aged 18-30 with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities to build communication, team building, and participation skills needed to be an engaged employee.
Your donation covers the costs associated with providing 1 individual with an Intellectual or Developmental Disability with an inclusive 4 hour a day, 4 day per week experience.
Costs include: program development and tracking, specially trained staff for program oversight & parent engagement prior to program, specially trained staff to work alongside each individual and resources assigned for daily progress monitoring to ensure each individual is engaged at the level they came in at and provided with opportunities for growth daily. Paid leaders for each activity; fitness, creative, and cooking, have also been trained to bring out the best in themselves and each individual and these leaders are the same for the entire two-week program providing consistency & structure.
The Experience
This one-week All Sports Camp experience includes:
- 9am-3pm
- Immersive experience with typical peers
- Specially trained coaches assigned for skill building
- Communication
- Teamwork
- Participation & Engagement Physical skills associated with sports camp activities
- Physical Skill building in up to 6 sports/activities: basketball, flag tag, softball/baseball, volleyball, capture the flag, soccer, field hockey, four square
- Pool time and group lunch included for expanded relationship building
- Daily progress monitoring on 3 key areas
- Objective 1: Communication
- Objective 2: Teamwork
- Objective 3: Participation & Engagement
