We were excited to welcome 6 new campers at the sports camp! Douglas Deffenbaugh ran an awesome sports camp at Highland Creek Real Neighbors Prosperity Park. KennedyStrong Foundation partnered with Doug’s Fit Kids Sports Wide World of Sports camp by adding trained coaches, allowing kids with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities to join their typical peers and have fun, play, and make new friends.

Here’s how our week went:

• Breakfast for the kids and me—thank goodness for grab-and-go!
• Swim practice
• Dropped off at camp
• Set up the KennedyStrong Foundation table for awareness

It was an awesome opportunity for everyone!
