Our recent donor event for the KennedyStrong Foundation was a great success. We had a fantastic turnout with 31 attendees out of the 57 who were invited. This is especially impressive considering it was held at the beginning of summer when many people are busy with other plans.

We had a table set up where the KSF story was shared and expressed our deep appreciation for everyone’s support. The attendees were very receptive and appreciative. Several people mentioned they were previously unaware of all the work we do, which was great to hear as it means our message is spreading.

In terms of fundraising, we received $425 in checks during the event. Additionally, two families committed to sending checks soon, and we anticipate further contributions from others who expressed interest. Two families had in-depth discussions with me about the foundation and pledged to connect us with philanthropists they know who might be interested in supporting our cause. This could potentially lead to new, valuable connections.

Kennedy was a huge hit! She and Jacob were on their best behavior, with Kennedy even taking the mic for a bit. Having Emily M. there as the babysitter was incredibly helpful, ensuring that the kids were entertained and well taken care of.

We kept expenses minimal, only spending on food and drinks. Our generous host provided the location and managed the invitation list, setup, and cleanup, which significantly reduced our costs. We collected 8 new email addresses to add to our newsletter list, helping us expand our reach and keep more people informed about our activities and progress. One of my girlfriends took photos and video throughout the event, capturing many wonderful moments. These will be great for sharing with our community and for future promotional materials.

Overall, the event was a tremendous success, thanks to all of you and your unwavering support. Your dedication and enthusiasm for the KennedyStrong Foundation continue to inspire and drive us forward. Thank you for being part of this journey with us.
